I have over 20 years of experience across investment management, public-policy strategy, legal practice and private advisory — in the Netherlands and internationally.
Across roles, the same questions kept returning:
What is happening? What does it mean for us? What is our position? And how do we move forward?
I’ve led complex projects, advised on strategic questions, unlocked situations that had stalled and guided sensitive disputes. What these situations shared was the need for clear analysis, sensitivity and the ability to create movement.
What drives me is working across silos and understanding how things really work — the incentives and interactions beneath the surface that shape outcomes. That systemic way of seeing sits at the core of my work. Ultimately, what I value most is supporting clients.
I work best with clients who value depth, sensitivity and a down-to-earth approach (and humour).
P.S. I also write The Bored Wonk.
